CYCLING SEASON REVIEW - 2018

VUELTA A ESPAÑa, NR 2
One week on and here I am again. The typing and thinking are a bit slower, though. These last 3 mountain stages were tough and took a lot of energy. I hope you enjoy this weeks post where I’ll talk you through Louis’s crash and how I survive these brutal mountain stages.
VUELTA A ESPAÑA, NR 1
If you told me before the Vuelta I’ll be able to say the team, aka Ben King, has won two stages, then I wouldn’t have believed you. I knew it’s possible, but to actually pull it off is another story. The team is on such a high. Everybody is going above and beyond to do their part. Now that we have the taste of victory, we want more.
SEASON UPDATE: FROM THE FRENCH RIVIERA TO COBBLES
It’s been a busy couple of weeks to say the least. I’ve been on the road most of the past 5 weeks and as I’m typing this I’m enjoying a couple of days at home before I head over to Amstel Gold Race.
Where I’ve been these last 5 weeks: Paris Nice, Tour de Langkawi, De Ronde van Vlaanderen, Scheldeprijs, Paris Roubaix and Brabantse Pijl.
VOLTA AO ALGARVE
Last week saw me racing in Portugal, Volta ao Algarve em Bicicleta. This was the second time I pinned a number for this race. Usually good weather, one hotel for the whole week, good food, long stages, what’s not to like about it. Perfect February race.
VOLTA A LA COMUNITAT VALENCIANA - 2018
I can’t believe the first race of the season is already finished and in one week I’m on to my next. Once the season starts it’s insane how fast time passes by as you are always focussed on the future. Everything you do today is to be better and faster tomorrow.

MY GIRO LOVE - HATE RELATIONSHIP
I’ve had the opportunity of racing the Giro d’Italia twice and after two participations I have a love-hate relationship with this Grand Tour.
