Johann van Zyl turned his childhood dream into reality when he signed his first professional contract at the age of 21 with Team MTN-Qhubeka. He enjoyed multiple years in the World Tour (Team Dimension Data) and ranked up personal victories at the Int. Tour of Austria, Tour of Rwanda, National u23 Titles and spent endless hours working for his team. He has 4 Grand Tours under his belt and suffered all the possible highs and lows of professional cycling.
